About Michael Carter
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember laying on my bed at 9 yrs old and hearing "Zoom" by the Commodores for the first time. I remember the way that song made me feel, and I knew that I wanted to make music that made people feel that way!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Brian Simpson, Above The Clouds
Fred Hammond, Radical for Christ, Spirit of David
Spirit of David by Fred Hammond—I never skip a track. Spirit by Earth, Wind & Fire draws me in with its musicality and thoughtful lyrics. Above the Clouds by Brian Simpson takes me somewhere else—it slows me down and gives me perspective.
