In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember recording my earliest song efforts on cassette tape, keeping that up until the songs became good enough to share and then got better and better by working day by day. I have improved as I go along playing and singing every year since then.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Circle Sky, Circle Sky at Mercury Lounge 30july1996 Nyc (Cg1) (Live) - Single Circus Guy, The Lovely Luna N.Y. Breaks, Best of N.Y. Breaks My bands N.Y. Breaks recorded my first hit "The Main Thing", Circle Sky did "Yasmine" among many of mine at Mercury Lounge in NYC, and Circus Guy recorded "I Wrote It Down" and 9 other of my original songs on The Lovely Luna album before I went solo.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “This Is How” This Is How describes empathy as self-awareness: "Now how do you fare? This is how you care." Put on your own oxygen mask first. MC puts us back in touch with ourselves in accessible new original music to cherish and reminds us that This Is Now.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The highlight of my solo career has been selling out shows and playing for years with Circus Guy at top nightclub music venue Mercury Lounge in New York City and then going on to play onstage by myself with my acoustic guitar, voice & original songs.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I look forward to having another song on the radio someday and to playing solo shows across the USA and abroad as I have done with some of my bands. There is much to look forward to and much to do! My first solo album 13 on 12 is on the way...
