Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Music filled our home when my mother played with friends. A worn big band tape from my grandmother and a Dave Grusin concert opened my ears — from then on, I knew I wanted to live inside that sound.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Dave Grusin, Dave Grusin and the NY-LA Dream Band
George Duke, The Essential George Duke
Yellowjackets, The Best of Yellowjackets
Grusin’s NY/LA Dream Band lit the spark, Duke’s Face The Music gave it warmth and soul, and the Yellowjackets’ Live Wires showed me how alive jazz can feel. Those albums still shape the way I play and listen today.

"You are My Home” is dedicated to my wife. It’s about warmth, belonging, and the quiet strength that love gives. Every track I write has its own story — but this one maybe is closest to my heart.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Completing my debut album Between Chairs and feeling it resonate with people worldwide was deeply moving. Yet my most cherished moments are live — when kindred souls meet on stage and music becomes pure connection.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I’d love to bring Between Chairs to more stages and connect with audiences across Europe. Playing my own music live — with the same depth and energy as on the record — is what still drives me.
