Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I must have been 3 or 4 years old. We lived in a multigenerational household, and I would go with Nanny, my maternal grandmother to the local church on Long Island. Sit in rafters with the choir and listen to the magic.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Danny Elfman, Edward Scissorhands (Music From the Motion Picture) Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Frank Sinatra, The Best of the Capitol Years / Selections from the Capitol Years Box Set: Frank Sinatra Grateful Dead, Dead Set (Live) I was raised on the experimental sounds of The Grateful Dead. Live Dead is perfection. I pursued a career in film scoring inspired by Danny's beautiful music in Edward Scissorhands. Nelson Riddle's arrangements for Sinatra inspire me to this day.

I wanted something aggressive and mechanical to propel the drama right out of the gate. I sampled a revving motorcycle, tempo mapped the speed of the engine and used it as the main driving pulse of the piece.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Building custom instruments, writing music and contributing programming to the team behind the score for Dreamworks' How To Train Your Dragon.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It's funny. I can look back on a life of achievement, on challenges met, competitors bested, obstacles overcome. I've accomplished more than most men. Still, playing a show Red Rocks @ Sunset would be a lovely way to go.
