In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
"It's a bit silly, but I was a huge Pokémon fan growing up. One random day in Boston, I came across an outdoor professional orchestra playing Pokémon medleys. This really stayed with me and inspired me to stay devoted to music, even at a young age."
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Brasstracks, For Those Who Know (Deluxe)
Joe Hisaishi, Studio Ghibli: Anime Music
Quincy Jones, The Dude
I have always believed that my favorites are not concrete. Different albums move me depending on what's going on in my life. That being said, these three albums have stood the test of time for me
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Movin' On Up (feat. Keila Myles)”
"Movin' On Up" is special as one of my first releases as an artist. After years behind the scenes producing and scoring films, this track gave me the confidence to step into the spotlight and finally do what I’ve always wanted to do.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
You said
Working on Ironheart is definitely a milestone for me. the first project I’ve worked on as a genuine fan. Growing up with Marvel, walking onto the Disney lot to work with the people who shaped part of my childhood was pretty surreal.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Sooo many things are still on my bucket list! I’ve made strides as a film composer and session musician, but I am just starting my journey as a songwriter. People know me as a composer, but I’d love to build a steady audience as an artist as well
