Artist Biography
b. 5 February 1977, Liberal, Kansas, USA. After finishing high school in 1995 Miller studied vocal performance at Hutchinson Community College, from where she graduated two years later. Although she has a strong preference for country music of times before her birth, a large part of her career since the late 90s has been in musical comedy revivals, including appearances in provincial productions of Grease, Guys And Dolls, Kiss Me Kate, Meet Me In St. Louis and Once Upon A Mattress. Singing the old time country music she admires so much, Miller has appeared on shows headlined by artists such as John Berry, Ty Herndon and Tom Wopat. She has also appeared in the lead vocalist spot with Western Attitude. On her 2006 solo debut, Miller sings several songs composed by Curt Ryle, including ‘I Tripped Over Your Memory’ (in collaboration with Curtis Wright), ‘Romeo Me’, ‘The Enemy’ (with Holly Lamar), and ‘Connect The Dots’ (with Jerry Abbott). Miller sings with a true, clear voice and has a sincere appreciation and understanding of the genre.
