Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. On Saturday mornings, I used to dance on my dad's feet in the kitchen where he'd belt out the Righteous Brothers while he swept the floor. On Sundays, the smell of my mom's homemade bread would waft up the stairs to the mellow strains of Norah Jones.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The memories that most matter to me are the little moments along the way that promised me I was on the right path–the toddlers dancing at the stage edge, the regulars who walk in with a request at the ready, the smiles singing along to my lyrics.
