In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Dad loved Jazz, so I was exposed to all the old jazz records he had from my early childhood. When I was growing up there were always gatherings where everyone played instruments and sang - it just seemed normal.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Billie Holiday, The Essential Billie Holiday Bob Dylan, Blood On the Tracks Joan Armatrading, Love and Affection I love Bob Dylan, he has an incredible way with words. Joan Armatrading's work on "Love and affection" inspired me. Billie Holiday's music and songs take me to a place I feel I have known. I am somehow very comfortable with the Blues and Jazz genre.
