In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a little boy, I wanted to play bass guitar in a rock band. My mom worked multiple jobs and it took her 3 months to save the money for my first instrument. But I was hooked, and in only a month, I could improvise covers for her in the dining room.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? obli, it’ll all be oki (ii) The EDM musician Obli and Baynk first inspired me to write dance music to bring others joy. Yet Lane 8's Reviver album inspired me to focus and perform my own music so that others may find their own language for healing and change.

Tell us why you chose this song. “502” Writing this song was quick, coming together like a painting, capturing emotion through color and space, rather than a piece of linear writing. It is a sonic reflection on my various relationships and the energies of those persons in my life.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had a show at a suicide prevention fundraiser in a run down parking lot, wedged between a river and a set of train tracks. A train stopped on the tracks - because someone attempted suicide - highlighting the vital need for our music to help others.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I do not commonly share my goals with others, yet I am humbled by the strong support and love I have already found from others who listen to my music. I am grateful to have so much connection with so many people around the world.
