In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to Led Zeppelin on the school bus ride to my middle school with the homie. It was so cool to bring it up to my pops later and have him show me his discography. Was addicted to classic rock for a few years after that.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Herbie Hancock, Head Hunters Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly They are perfect, revolutionary, and ahead of their time. Sonic perfection.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Meeting weirdos like me. Playing with the most talented musicians on a consistent basis. Learning how to set up a full studio with all the complex wiring scenerios.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To have my music sharing around the world. I make all different kinds of music that will appeal and speak to many people around the world. My Arab roots give me a unique perspective that I want to share with others thru the sonics.
