Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was about three years old, and my mother, who was also a singer, was dancing with me and singing St. Louis Blues to me. She and my brother are the ones who planted the seed in me of singing, and especially blues, but R&R, soul, country, big band.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aretha Franklin, Respect - The Very Best of Aretha Franklin Bob Dylan, Blonde On Blonde Fats Domino, Rock and Rollin' With Fats Domino They all got into my psyche. Wore them out dancing to them and listening to the words and rhythms and melodies and tempos. Aretha Franklin was outstanding. That's all I can say.
