About Mount Pilot
Formed in 1994, the Chicago-based alt-country unit Mount Pilot originally consisted of simply singers/guitarists Matt Weber and Jon Williams; bassist Chris Grady signed on two years later, and in 1997 the band issued its debut LP Help Wanted, Love Needed, Caretaker. Two years later, Mount Pilot -- now consisting of Weber, Grady, guitarist Tommy O'Donnell and drummer Sean Fogarty -- resurfaced with a self-titled LP on Doolittle. ~ Jason Ankeny
