In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember Sundays with my dad in Soweto listening to African Jazz legends when the day started, transitioning to old school house as the day progressed and finally ending up at RnB. This is something I looked forward to and it really lit me up.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Atjazz, Jullian Gomes, The Gift the Curse Black Coffee, Home Brewed Kelvin Momo, Ivy League The Home Brewed album is essentially the soundtrack to my childhood. Diving deeper into sound design, I became fascinated with what Atjazz & Jullian did on this project. Kelvin Momo represents a sound I aspire to fuse with deep house and make my own.

It took me out of my comfort zone. From the multilayered kicks alongside the thumping bass to the pitched down vocal samples. This prohect is heavily inspired by Atjazz & Jullian Gomes
