Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid, watching Chum Top 30 Countdown on City TV, Seeing Thriller for the first time. Songs like Rockwell "Watching Me", Sade "Smooth Operator", listening to early 80s Hip-Hop (Run DMC, Fatboys, Beasties). First Rap song I heard was "Holiday Rap".
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Main Source, Breaking Atoms Masta Ace, Take a Look Around Sade, Stronger Than Pride These albums changed my life. I was introduced to Sade at an early age, the album is a timeless classic. Combines both synth and instrumentation. Breaking Atoms is one the best produced Hip Hop albums in history. Masta Ace was my gateway into hip-hop
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cry Baby” I made this as way to deal with the passing of my father and aunt (within a month of each other), both were huge parts of my life and were very supportive in everything I did. This is the first single for an upcoming EP. It's OK to cry.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my first album was a huge leap, believing in myself to actually go through with it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Bucket list items would release psychical media (Cassette or 7" Vinyl), score another movie and to release a few collaboration projects with other artists. All time bucket list, meet Sade.
