About Muchachito Bombo Inferno
Muchachito, guitarist and vocalist of Muchachito Bombo Infierno, began his musical career in the streets, and his first group, Trimelon de Naranjus, reflected his experiences there. Muchachito performed as a solo artist throughout Spain following Trimelon's breakup in 2001, and soon began looking for musicians to contribute to his new "rumboxing" (rhumba, swing, and combat) sound. Tapping ex-Trimelon Héctor Bellino (bass) and Tito Carlos (piano), Muchachito formed Muchachito Bombo Infierno, whose lineup also includes a horn section and Santos de Veracruz, a painter/illustrator who completes a painting on-stage during each of the band's concerts. Muchachito Bombo Infierno's debut disc, Vamos Que Nos Vamos, was released in November 2004. After touring throughout Spain and beyond, the band recorded its second album, 2007's Visto Lo Visto. ~ Evan C. Gutierrez
