About Mukala
Alternative CCM rockers Mukala took their name from singer/keyboardist Dan Mukala, a onetime music composition student at Nashville's Belmont University who in 1996 turned professional songwriter, penning a number of Top Ten CHR hits. Also comprising guitarist Alex Nifong and drummer Jason Collum, the group signed to Essential Records in 1998, issuing their debut Fiction later that same year. ~ Jason Ankeny
