Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In a small storefront in Cleveland, my father’s alto sax filled the room while my mother played the organ, her voice rising in harmony. It wasn’t just music—it was worship, pure and soulful. That sound, that feeling, has never left me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Donny Hathaway, Donny Hathaway Michael Jackson, Thriller Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life When I first started singing, I worked hard to imitate Stevie’s vocal tone and agility—he was my blueprint. Donny’s rich, soulful voice always felt like church to me—deep, raw, and spiritual. And MJ? I mean… THRILLER! That album changed everything.

I never truly understood that kind of love until I held him in my arms. Now, as a father of three—two sons and a daughter—that love has only grown deeper. I'd move heaven and earth to protect them.
