Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing the bass rumble of Stanley Beckford’s, ‘Dreaming of a New Jamaica (Come Sing With Me)’, at a Sierra Leonean hall party and being transfixed, running to the dance floor and joining the adults as we danced and sang.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, Me Against the World Buju Banton, 'Til Shiloh (Expanded) TV on the Radio, Return To Cookie Mountain These albums all came to me at a time when I really needed them, shifting my artistic mind and expanding the possibilities of what I could do as an artists. They all deal with the hardships of life but through them find joy and motivation!

Tell us why you chose this song. “Exit” It’s a song I didn’t ‘write’, it’s a song that came to me and felt fully formed lyrically when it did. It’s a song that expresses some of my deepest frustrations about being a second generation immigrant whilst also being incredibly musically joyful.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the Fred Perry, Nicholas Daley Music Grant in 2021, which really gave me the confidence and motivation to finish my debut album, ‘POOL’.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Many things left on my bucket list! Here’s a short list in no particular order; Record/write a song with Vampire Weekend World Tour (sustainable slow paced, many dates in one city world tour ☺️) Film a music video with a horse, a white horse
