Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 13 my brother dropped Steppenwolf on his turntable and I LOVED that hard rock. Then I heard "Wichita Lineman" in the car with him and realized life is complicated.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dawes, Misadventures Of Doomscroller Sheryl Crow, Sheryl Crow Toto, Toto IV Toto IV is iconic & upbeat; Dawes = happy memories for me; and Sheryl Crow's self-titled album has a deep cut, Oh Marie, that makes me wonder to this day whatever happened to Marie?
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Feeling Nashville” Lots of people dream of visiting Nashville; me too. I was leaving family in the Midwest and they asked what time I'd be heading South. I said, "I'll be down in Indiana when the some comes up." That became the first line of the song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'd joined a songwriting group during Covid and began playing out. Another member who is an incredible songwriter and performer offered to help me record a song. We ended up doing six. So far.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to perform my songs live to a national audience someday. I'd love to co-write more. Let's start with those two.
