Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember discovering so much music from listening to the radio on long car journeys with my family. But since I didn't speak English yet, I would always just make up my own words and sing along, which would greatly annoy my three siblings.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, Bon Iver, Bon Iver (Deluxe Edition) Daughter, If You Leave The Japanese House, Good at Falling These albums to me are incredibly inspiring on both a songwriting & production level. I can listen to them on repeat and I will never get enough.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pure Frustration” I think this is my best song both when it comes to songwriting & production. It is very honest and atmospheric and playing it live still makes me a bit teary, 4 years after writing it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Receiving airplay on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC 6 Music. Playing the iconic Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh and King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow. And having people sing my lyrics back at me at my gigs is pretty crazy!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to play Glastonbury once in my life. And I'd like to play Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow. I want to release a full-length album with a label, where I (co-)produce all of the songs. Going on a world-wide tour.
