Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
After a mindnumbingly-long concert band recital in middle school, my friend Kyle plugs his Jackson electric guitar into an old, mostly blown-out amp hidden in the back of the school instrument room. This was the first time I ever heard heavy metal.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Queens of the Stone Age, Rated R (Deluxe Edition)
The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Are You Experienced Deluxe Version
The Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream
These albums all share incredibly strong hooks, iconic guitar-driven artistry, and an honest expression of self. When I re-listen to each of these albums, I'm taken back to a screenshot of who I was when I first listened to them, which is magic.

“Dream 27”
Dream 27 was one of the first songs that I felt was a perfect blend of literary references and lived experience. It has both a beautiful and haunting presence that I find unique in our catalogue, as most of our other songs are mostly one-dimensional.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Playing at Raleigh's The PourHouse music hall, where many of our influences have played at.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Play a festival, go on a US tour, and get a session on KEXP or Audiotree.
