Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I visited my dad during summer vacation and we sat in his backyard playing with the dog while he blasted The Eagles and Jimi Hendrix on a kick-ass stereo system.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jack Johnson, In Between Dreams Jason Mraz, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things Third Eye Blind, Third Eye Blind Third Eye Blind showed me the power of relatable lyrics, Jason Mraz showed me being uncool isn't such a bad thing when you can write some pretty good music, and Jack Johnson gave me a chill, zen vibe that never left.

Tell us why you chose this song. “3:00Am” After I uploaded a midnight cover on my YouTube channel, my dad sent me an email (something that onlly happens a few times a year). It read: "Hey. I heard 3:00AM. Good song."
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sitting in the studio with a major Japanese artist working on a song I helped write lyrics for, and the young engineer turned around and said, "Hey, you're the guy that sings Japanese pop songs on YouTube, right? I grew up watching your stuff!"
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play Budokan. Tour the states. Write a hit song. Win a Grammy.
