Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Decades ago, a friend made a mix tape for me that included Rush, The Cars, Queen, and Gary Numan. I got seriously hooked on drumming and synthesizers as a result. I couldn't afford synths, so I bought a cheap drum kit and learned to play it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gary Numan, The Pleasure Principle Bonus Tracks Pink Floyd, The Wall The Fixx, Reach the Beach Each of these albums represented very different aspects of music I grew up with. Each was imaginative and innovative. The Wall was theatrical, Reach The Beach was amazingly dark, and Numan was truly groundbreaking and futuristic sounding.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Redacted” Redacted was my first serious attempt at vocals. As a drummer by trade, I'd become accustomed to hiding behind my kit and not singing. I like that it has a punk feel to it, though it's not.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The moment I realized I had a studio full of gear waiting for me to learn how to use it. It was a great moment of excitement when I'd figured out the DAW, and started recording my ideas with the synths in the studio; then releasing my first single.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The bucket list always depletes and replenishes as one's music career moves past previously set milestones. I'm so happy to have a few tracks here to share with everyone.
