Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I always look back at the nostalgia and great musical soundtracks to movies and shows growing up in the 90's.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Robertson, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, City Noir Glenn Gould, Bach: The Well-Tempered Clavier, Books I & II, BWV 846-893 Joe Hisaishi, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, A Symphonic Celebration (Music from the Studio Ghibli Films of Hayao Miyazaki) Every one of these albums has played a major role in shaping my artistic identity—far more than I could possibly fit into a 250-character box.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Eternal” This has always been a very special recording to me. I love the intimacy and vulnerability in everyone's sound, playing, and improvisation.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A standout moment in my career was stepping onto the Carnegie Hall stage for the first time. The immense wave of emotion and joy that rushed over me, is something I will never forget.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Perform and record a concerto with the New York Philharmonic!
