About Night Terrors of 1927
Electronic-infused pop/rock duo Night Terrors of 1927 feature former Rilo Kiley guitarist Blake Sennett and former Honorary Title lead singer Jarrod Gorbel. Although Sennett and Gorbel had known each other since 2010, it wasn't until Gorbel relocated to Los Angeles that the journeymen indie rockers began writing songs together. Naming themselves after a chapter in a journal Gorbel's great-grandfather bequeathed to him, the duo moved quickly, signing with Atlantic and releasing the five-track EP Guilty Pleas in 2013. In 2015, Night Terrors of 1927 released their debut full-length album, Everything's Coming Up Roses, which included the Tegan and Sara duet "When You Were Mine." ~ Matt Collar
