Multilingual Ukranian pop star NK is also an actress, television presenter, and X-Factor judge who found global success with the Latin-flavored 2018 hit “Peligroso.”
• Born in Ukraine, NK grew up largely in Italy. She’s had a lifelong affinity for Latin music and culture, and the first song she remembers singing is the 1954 Mexican classic “Cucurrucucú, Paloma.”
• Between 2008 and 2015, NK released four albums as part of the duo Potap & Nastya. She put out her first solo album, the holiday-themed Xmas with NK, in 2017. Her second album, 2018’sNo Komments, features songs written in Ukranian, Russian, and English.
• NK’s international breakthrough came in 2018 on the Spanish-language single “Peligroso,” which reached No. 24 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart in the US. A 2019 remix features the Puerto Rican rapper De La Ghetto.
• In 2020, NK released Ecléctica, a seven-track EP of pulsing, club-ready songs in Spanish and English.
NK has also released music as a member of Potap & Nastya.
