Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Watching The Naked Brothers Band show on Nickelodeon unlocked something in me. Seeing kids like me, from New York, creating and releasing music, living their lives truly inspired me to make music of my own.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Childish Gambino, Because the Internet Destiny's Child, Destiny Fulfilled Kendrick Lamar, DAMN. Destiny's Child's album made me feel so many emotions as a young kid. DAMN makes me go harder as a lyricist and storyteller. Childish Gambino made music for me, I was that unheard, misunderstood teenager.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “You Can Fly!” I've dealt with self doubt and imposter syndrome for so long. You Can Fly! was me being able to put into words how scared I am at times to embark on this artist journey, but always knowing that I can do anything I put my mind to.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Flying to my producer friend's house and basically locking ourselves in the studio for 3 days. From those sessions birthed my first EP "And So It Was". That'll always be really special to me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's so much left. Working with some of my favorite artists, touching a million streams, traveling the world for my music. Plus a billion other things I can't even name.
