Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a youngster, I went to Thurber House of Poetry, located in Downtown Columbus Ohio. From there I continued writing poetry, eventually evolving to the Spoken Word arts before finally landing on Rap
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ab-Soul, Control System Blu & Exile, Below the Heavens Common, Like Water for Chocolate These are such amazing Albums. Commons lyrical ability over these J Dilla beats is a perfect combination. The same goes for BTH, Blu and Exile are a match made in Hip-Hop Heaven. Control System is a Classic, Ab does a great job Progressing the genre!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Jumpin the Gun” I heard this beat and immediately went to work. I was captivated, and the instrumental was extracting words like I had them in a ZIP already. Go check out the video if you haven't seen it yet. Also, love performing this track.. it keeps me sharp!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Theres been so many memorable moments. Meeting and working with the legend who is J Rawls, priceless. Cutting tracks with Blu, and Exile?! Priceless. Opening for Blackalicious and Hieroglyphics, workin with Homeboy Sandman and Asher Roth.. Im Honored
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've got quite a long and extensive Bucket list. Namely breaking into the game and making more of a splash, while working with Dope Artists along the way. Oh, and Touring overseas.
