The pop/rock quartet NV is the brainchild of Berklee College of music alum Blake Paulson. Paulson, a drummer who picked up his life in Boston for the sunny sites of Los Angeles, was hopeful to start a band. Vocalists Carrie Turner and Alyssa Ruschak joined him as well as guitarist Chris Sutor. Perfecting their own energetic pop stylings around threads of jazz, country, and R&B, NV issued their debut album, Looking, in summer 2001. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
