About Odd Project
Originally formed in 2000, Orange County metalcore band Odd Project is a progressive-minded rock ensemble combining the worlds of metal, hardcore, and emo into an understandably combustible sound. After recording a set of demos, the lineup of Matt Lamb (vocals), Scott Zschomler (lead guitar, vocals), Greg Pawloski (guitar), Eric Cline (bass), and Christian Escobar (drums) signed with Indianola Records and issued their debut album, The Second Hand Stopped, in 2004. Recorded in less than two weeks at Zing Studios, they promoted the effort with a tour that included a main stage spot at Hellfest 2004.
In December 2006, they recruited a new lead singer, Michael "Jag" Jagmin, and recorded their next album Lovers Fighters Sinners Saints. After that effort's release in 2007, they went on extended hiatus, returning in 2025 with all of the original band members. That August, they issued the single "Sound the Alarm!" from their Arguing With the Richter Scale EP, which landed in September. ~ TiVo Staff
