In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Seeing "Colors" by Beck laid out in the DAW. My young self was blown away by just how many elements went into a single track. Much later, I finally understood what each element did; eventually I realized that results, not components, matter most.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burial, Untrue Elyanna, WOLEDTO Gorgon City, Olympia Olympia – First got me into producing house music. WOLEDTO – A textbook example of blurring genres with captivating results. Untrue - A hugely influential album that inspired me to embrace creating more unconventional, emotional electronic music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Away From Me” I had an early demo of this song stuck in my head while going to visit some friends. The voicemail you hear in the beginning is from that same hangout--so when the music kicks in, it mirrors exactly what was playing in my head at the time.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When my music became playable in the video game Geometry Dash. I became interested in electronic music from listening to GD's soundtrack, which informed much of my style; to now be part of that myself is a blessing, and a true full-circle moment.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Right now, as a small artist I want to collaborate more and learn from other people who are doing the same things I'm doing as well as people in other stages of their musical careers. Experimenting with other genres also appeals to me.
