About Old Feels
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Playing guitar in the middle school talent show - I played a solo guitar medley I wrote of Malagueña, Purple Haze, and improvised on a blues shuffle in front of the whole school. For the first I really felt accepted and praised for my talent.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Haruomi Hosono, S-F-X
Herbie Hancock, Sextant
Squarepusher, Big Loada
What I'd consider my favorite records are always changing, but I really love Herbie, Haruomi, and Squarepusher and have spent a lot of time listening to them. One thing all of these artists have in common, is that they continue to evolve and grow.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
In 2025 I was as part of an event for the ALCU where I got to play in the band with Sheryl Crow, St Vincent, Maggie Rogers, Monrovia, Taylor Meier from Caamp, and Joy Oladokun with a 9 piece string section lead by Rob Moose. I'l never forget that.
