About Olexesh
One of Germany's most prolific and commercially successful hip-hop artists, street rapper Olexesh is known for an unrelenting and emotive gruffness that resonates through raw and polished productions alike. Early clips he uploaded to YouTube caught the attention of Celo, leading to a longstanding affiliation with Celo & Abdi's 385idéal label. Following his 2012 debut mixtape, Olexesh regularly hit the upper reaches of the German album chart. Nu eta da (2014), Masta (2015), and Makadam (2016), his first three albums, all went Top Ten, and his fourth, Rolexesh (2018), crowned the chart. The Edin collaboration "Magisch" provided Olexesh with his first number one single during this period. From 2019 through 2024, the rapper's stack of Top Ten albums increased with Augen Husky, Bratan, and Matador. Typically hard-hitting projects such as Olexiy Kosarev (titled after his birth name), Beluga, and Augen Husky 3 arrived during the next couple years.
