The moment I became an artist, rather than a musician. I was 19 when I wrote my first song and it was a wholly different experience than being part of a piece of music. I was the driver of the song, and for the first time, the music was 100% me

Mac Ayres, Drive Slow
Thundercat, Drunk
Thundercat's "Drunk" is such an insane album, what inspired me to start creating original music. Mac Ayres "Drive Slow" is a huge inspiration soundwise for me, blending rnb and jazz perfectly. And Clifford Brown is the GOAT, respect to the trumpet
