Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing piano when I was like 6 years old. I sucked at it but the feeling of pressing those keys opened me to a sense of freedom. Since then sound creation has been my escape from reality.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dr. Dre, The Chronic Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun Mart'nália, Martinho da Vila, Canta Canta, Minha Gente! A Vila é de Martinho (feat. Preto Ferreira, Jujuh Ferreirah, Maíra Freitas, Alegria Ferreira, Tunico, Analimar Ventapane & Martinho Filho (Pinduca)) - Single The sound in good music is alive. It breaths and dances through the head like a breeze through an open window. These albums bring that life with every track.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lost 4 Words” Not only was this track one of the best I mixed and mastered, but it only took 30 minutes to create. The words, flow, and sound came to me naturally.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Showing my music to my mom for the first time. Throughout growing up I had a lot of things holding me back, I hid behind the idea that I was never perfect enough to express. I was 18 when I finally showed her a track. From there, I was free.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As I move forward I work to free myself from my insecurities day by day. As I improve I work to being more than just a music artist, but an influence to help kids who grew up like me. That's my main goal
