Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I played a grand piano on the stage of the Manchester Palace theatre after a Ken Dodd show.

George Michael, Ladies & Gentlemen - The Best of George Michael
I love the depth of the songwriting from all these artists. I met Annie Lennox once and I was raving about the song 'Precious'. George's version of I Can''t Make You Love me is stunning. And the Bee Gees ARE disco and falsetto plus ace songwriting

“Look Up At the Stars”
I wrote this track as the eulogy for my Dad who had passed away from Alzheimers - he got the early-onset version aged just 59, facing a horrible slow decline over the next ten years. He was such a strong, lovely man. I look up and think of him often.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I went to Abbey Road to master the original version of my Love the Groove album back in 2008. Crossing that famous zebra crossing, with tourists taking photographs as we entered the building 'just in case' I suppose! Felt like I'd arrived!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I'd love to be putting on a full live-band tour - live performance is my favourite part about creating music.
