Pat Barrett is an American singer-songwriter best known as the frontman of the contemporary Christian rock band Housefires.
ā The son of a pastor, Barrett began playing guitar and writing songs at age ten.
ā He cowrote Chris Tomlinās devotional hit āGood Good Father,ā which sold more than 1 million copies and topped Billboardās Hot Christian Songs chart for seven weeks in 2016.
ā Inspired by the success of āGood Good Father,ā Barrett and Tomlin teamed up to write a childrenās book of the same name, which has sold more than 200,000 copies.
ā Barrettās self-titled 2018 solo LP reached No. 22 on Billboardās Top Christian Albums chart and No. 11 on the UKās Official Christian & Gospel Albums chart.
ā The exultant song āBuild My Lifeā is his most successful solo single to date, peaking at No. 4 on Billboardās Hot Christian Songs chart in 2018.
