About Kid Bookie
In the artistโs words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Watching Michael Jackson on the TV when I was about 6/7 and thinking he was a beautiful girl and saying to my Mum, โMum, I love that girlโ.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Appleย Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP
Frank Ocean, Blonde
Slipknot - An asbolute powerhouse in musical diversity. Frank Ocean, because the music palette he plays with on that album was almost diety like. Eminem, an absolute raucous presentation of the times he inhabited as an artist. What a bunch of heroes.
Find a song of yours on Appleย Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
โGame (feat. Corey Taylor)โ
Because working with my brother and one of my favourite artists is always a blessing and plus I got to release it on the home of rock music, Marshall Records.
Whatโs one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Probably being nominated for any award, let alone Moboโs and HMAโs etc, there are a 1000 people more that I feel deserve things I am given but the fact itโs handed to me, makes me feel like maybe I got some shit to do here, who knows.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Yes, millions of things, the journey only ends at death.
