Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Learning songs by ear in guitar lessons with my teacher Chris Caveliere.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mew, Mew and the Glass Handed Kites Pinback, Summer In Abaddon Sun Kil Moon, Among the Leaves Its hard to say 'all-time' - but these come to mind. All with an excellent blend of musicianship and inventiveness. All very unique albums that have had a great impact on me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Commercial” I'm very proud of this song since we were able to tell a story. I tried to paint a vivid image of what kind of anxieties plague everyday people.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to play for over 1,000 people on the west coast with Pinegrove in 2022.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I very much want to tour in Europe and Japan. I also want to play at one of the big festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Pitchfork). Maybe one day!
