With an eclectic style drawn from soul, funk, and reggae as well as alternative pop/rock, Pep's was founded in 2001, but it wasn't until the group signed to Echo Productions in 2008 and released their second full-length album, Utopies dans le Décor, which featured the break-out hit "Libertà," that the band enjoyed greater success. Moreover, Utopies dans le Décor was re-released late in the year in association with Universal Music and peaked at number 63 on the French albums chart. In the wake of the album's deluxe edition re-release, Pep's toured heavily and furthered their longstanding reputation as a spectacular live band. ~ Jason Birchmeier
