In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I first started rapping when I was 15. I was influenced by Rakim, Nas, Canibus, Dr. Dre, and mostly East Coast hip-hop. At the time I was living in Texas which also had an influence on my creatives.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cordae, The Lost Boy Joyner Lucas, ADHD NF, The Search All of these albums speak to me. These artist have an influence on my style and how I write. Their songs have a message I can relate to. I appreciate what they have done for the culture and industry.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Heart of a King” I believe this is one of my best creations to date. It is a braggadocio track but I believe the lyrics, flow, and punch lines really hit home on this one. This is my proudest track.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I opened for Tech N9ne. I also draw inspiration from the struggle in life. Whether it be mental or behavioral health and that encourages me to try and help people through my messages.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I aspire to tour around the globe and influence people with my music. One of my goals is to help change one persons life. I hope to influence positivity in the world and tell my story to help others.
