About Phebe Starr
Australian indie singer Phebe Starr crafts electro-pop in the vein of Lykke Li, Marina & the Diamonds, and Zara Larsson, but with an organic, mystic edge similar to Florence and the Machine, Kimbra, or Kate Bush. Her music builds upon atmospheric synths with a sharp focus on songcraft and melody. Her first hit, "Alone with You," arrived in 2012 and was promoted by Australian radio station Triple J. The single was featured on her debut EP, 2014's Zero. That same year, she lent her vocals to Capetown's tropical dance track "The Night."
