Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started to learn the clarinet at ten years old. I remember my teacher explained that the clarinet reed needed to be moistened to function correctly - and then moistened it in his own mouth and attached it to my clarinet! 🤢 #Gross #ClarinetTrauma
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andy Sheppard, Delivery Suite Ron Kenoly, God Is Able Various Artists, Back To The Future Three albums that I have binged and studied in such depth! Each has influenced my musical journey... the incredible Alan Silvestri score, the Tom Brooks arrangements, and an approach to the jazz genre that opened my ears to a broader musical palette.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Live on ITV, millions of viewers awaited my ethereal synth pad intro. My fingers struck the keys... and instead unleashed a circus organ sound! I've not been invited to do much live TV work since... 🙈 #NeverForget #SynthGate
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I LOVE playing on big stages to large crowds - once the audience numbers are in the tens of thousands, there's an amazing energy and dynamic that can't be reproduced in a smaller venue. I'd love a few more of those experiences before I retire! 🤩
