Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In late 2005, at a café in Wantagh, New York. I clutched my instrument, feeling nervous as my first open mic loomed. I played 3 of my own songs and had a blast. Stepping on stage that night was a defining experience, marking the birth of a performer.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? B.B. King, Live At the Regal John Mayer, Continuum Red Hot Chili Peppers, Californication (Deluxe Edition) "Continuum" inspires my songwriting and compositions, while "Californication" ignited my music passion as my first ever CD. "Live at the Regal" by BB King is a timeless example of blues guitar excellence, leaving an indelible mark on my musical path.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As a kid I went to many shows at Madison Square Garden in NYC. There were many times I visited that venue and dreamed of stepping foot on the legendary stage. I keep a printed ticket with "Philip James Live in Concert" at MSG on my vision board.
