DJ and producer Preditah makes ambient, edgy instrumentals blending the best of UK grime and garage.
• Hailing from Birmingham, England, Preditah began his career by spinning at birthday parties when he was 14. He later graduated to local clubs.
• In 2011, he was discovered and cosigned by grime MC and producer Jme. That same year, his debut EP, Solitaire, established him an artist to watch in the grime scene.
• Preditah soon began working as an in-house producer for Boy Better Know (BBK), the collective led by Jme and his brother Skepta.
• He scored a commercial breakthrough in 2017, collaborating with English singer-songwriter Jorja Smith on “On My Mind.” Produced and cowritten by Preditah, the single peaked just outside the Top 50 on the UK charts.
• He’s created remixes for trendsetters like Disclosure, Alina Baraz, Tchami, and Skepta.
