Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My tiny 3rd grade hands gripped a 1980s microphone as big as a turkey leg as I bravely belted out my first solo for a packed gymnasium Christmas program at my school. Nerves of steel. Until it was over... and I promptly threw up all the way home. :)

This song is about my journey of shedding old identities, fully claiming my voice (finally!), and stepping into my power. Instead of desperately trying to cling to youth, I'm kicking down the door to the next era and declaring, "I live here now!"
