Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Piano lessons began at age 8 with Mrs. H., tho I was hardly an ideal student. I played by ear much better than reading music, which inspired me to start composing my own songs a few years later. (Thanks Mrs. H, & sorry I wasn't the most prepared...)

“With Fervent Desire”
This is one of the 1st songs I ever wrote on piano (after reading Helter Skelter), but it's still an all-time favorite. I love that piano, cello, & tribal drums are the only instruments, simmering & building like fire, the song's metaphorical subject
