In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first ever drum machine back in the year of 1999 was a BOSS DR-202 DR GROOVE. I had paired it with a BOSS 303 DR SAMPLE. I used to make beats and put them onto cassettes. I started making music at the young age of 13.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gravediggaz, 6 Feet Deep Natas, Doubelievengod Onyx, Bacdafucup I was heavily influenced by these albums as an musical artist throughout my life. Each album brings an intense amount of energy.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I'm Sorry (Remix)” When I wrote this track, it was truly from the heart. The song is well known amongst my family and friends and carries a lot of meaning personally. The lyrics are deep, the production is soulful and smooth and everything flows well.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating my own genre of music known as "Doom Bap". The genre is influenced by horror, blending together the sounds of old school hip hop with malevolent and menacing lyricism over grim sounding production.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to see my brand and label "Doom Bap Recordings" continue to get widespread recognition throughout the hip hop community. I would like to go on tour and perform live in concert as well. I also want to create my own merchandise for fans.
