Weaving a tapestry of float-away guitar sounds with Eastern melodies and languid, intimate vocals, Boston band Quilt lay out a modern take on psychedelic folk. The band debuted in 2009 with a self-titled cassette, followed a year later by the 7” Agents of Play. Quilt teased their full-length debut with a single for the Burger label in spring 2011, with the real deal arriving that fall on Mexican Summer, showcasing the band at its freest and most fully realized. ~ Chrysta Cherrie
