In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I touched a piano was in my cousin's attic in Brooklyn New York. I was 4 years old, but that was the beginning of a love affair that continues to this day, 41 years later.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I abused my voice back in 2000 singing in multiple bands and ending up with vocal nodules. It hurt to talk, it hurt to sing. So I switched careers. But I never gave up on making music again, so here I am 24 years later.
